Cancellation policy

  • Cancellation of your booking 7-days’ or more prior to your arrival will incur a non-refundable charge equivalent to one night’s stay.

  • If you have booked a non refundable rate, which is our cheapest rate, you will incur no refund for any timeframe you cancel.

  • Mundi Mundi Month of August. There are no refunds given to cancellations in August due to the high demand for accommodation due to the Mundi Mundi Bash.

  • You will not receive any refunds if you have been asked to depart. If you choose to rebook for a date in the future, the cancellation fee will be waived. Your booking may be held in credit for up to one year from date the reservation was made.

  • If road conditions on our property are limited due to weather events, cancellation fees are waived your accommodation and camping fees will be refunded or credited at your discretion.

  • Date changes can be made to your booking with no fees charged, if vacancies are available.

  • If the guest feels as though they should receive a refund and currently do not qualify for one under our Cancellation Policy, they are asked put their request in writing/email management at meraldastation@gmail.com with their reasoning.

  • Management will consider each request on a case-by-case basis. Guests are strongly advised to cover unforeseen circumstances by taking out comprehensive holiday and travel insurance.

Terms and conditions

Here at Meralda Station, we are family owned and run farm. This is our home, and we expect that you respect that, and our rules. By accepting this you are in agreement to the terms and conditions as outlined in your selected choice of stay - clearly outlined. If you're not going to do the right thing, and respect our home please don't proceed with your booking. Thank you.

The finer details of your stay at Meralda Station.

We’d love to share our station stay with you, but before you book, take a closer look at our facilities and please ensure you agree to our terms and conditions. We’re a working farm with family commitments. By agreeing to the T&C’s in advance, we’re sure you’ll have a fantastic stay with us.

  • Facilities for those guests on secluded sites, main camp ground and glamping. NOT accessible for self sufficient camping.

  • Toilets - we have 2, we supply loo paper daily, but BYO toilet paper in case it's empty.

  • Shower: 1 star gazing open roof shower

  • Water: We do not offer water to be supplied for vans

  • Communal Campfire: The communal campfire is in the middle of the bush camping area near the camp kitchen - You are welcome to cook meals here.

  • Private Campfire: If you would like a private campfire, firewood can be purchased, or BYO. We no longer allow wood to be collected on our property. In the spirit of camping, we encourage you to have a campfire. Please ensure on departure it is extinguished and no food scraps, cans, bottles or rubbish is left in it. DO NOT PUT FIRES ON THE GROUND - USE PITS PROVIDED

  • Shop: To purchase local farm produce and merchandise, contact us directly or add to your booking.

CAMPING & GLAMPING

  • We are delighted to offer over 2 acres of camping space. Many guests
    choose to stay with us because of the wide-open spaces and the privacy this offers, so please be mindful of how close you park to existing campers.

  • Under no circumstances is it ok to empty your cassette into the toilets. The
    closest dump point in Cobar town next to the museum.

  • There are no garbage facilities, we do have some bins for small things in the kitchen area.

  • There are to be no drones used at any time as we are under flight path zoning.

  • Dogs must always remain on a leash, and owners must clean up all waste. Dogs are not permitted at the communal campfire. 1080 fox-baits are in the area

  • Do not enter through ANY fences or gates on the property, yards or animal enclosures without prior permission.

  • Children must be supervised by an adult.

  • No swimming in our dams/ground tanks. However your welcome to fish from the bank of the tanks

  • Do not drive private vehicles around the farm.

  • Speed limit is 10KM per hr. Please be aware of children on our station. And 5km around the campground

  • On arrival, please check-in via text prior to your arrival for your ETA as we do our best with our farm commitments to meet and greet you at the gate. Check in is 2-5pm, if you're out of those hours call and arrange alternative arrangements.

  • By respecting our rules, we’ll all have a great time. If you don’t, you will be asked to leave. No refunds will be offered.

  • At Meralda Station, we pride ourselves on being a camping destination.
    Please use our property as an opportunity to connect with the land, other
    visitors and embrace our camp stay for what it is: low impact camping on a family farm.

  • We ask all our guests to ARRIVE BY 6PM on arrival day. We stop Meet and Greets around 4pm due to family commitments.

  • We have a strict 10pm no noise curfew.

  • You agree to comply with all applicable laws and with the regulations.

  • You agree to not exceed the maximum number of occupants specified in the Booking Agreement.

  • We suggest you obtain appropriate travel insurance to protect you from unforeseen circumstances during your stay and your journey. (e.g. road and weather conditions, accidents and injury).

  • Mobile telephone reception is great.

PETS
Pets are permitted they must be:-
1. Kept on a leash at all times, this includes anywhere on the station
2. We ask that pets are not left unattended at Camp Sites.
3. We have chosen for inside camp Kitchens/bathrooms and accommodation to be PET FREE. This does not apply to special assistance pets.
4. If your pet is found to be off their leash at anytime whilst staying, you will be putting our/other pet animals at risk and maybe asked to leave the premises.
5. We will not be responsible for any injuries to your pet during your stay.
6. Please do understand that rural properties have wild dog eradication programs in place.

ACCOMMODATION/CAMPING
1. Whilst care is taken to ensure that the description of facilities and services is accurate, these are continually being changed, upgraded, and on
occasion taken out of service.
2. If any feature/facility is essential for the guest in choosing to stay, it is advisable that you check this at the time of booking.
3. We cannot be held liable for omissions or errors regarding the property’s facilities and services, whether temporary or permanent.
4. Property room photos may not be specific to actual room allocated. Photos are indicative only.
5. Management reserves the right to relocate or change the booked room/cabin/site number, prior to, or on arrival.

CLEANING FEES
1. You agree to vacate the property in a reasonably clean condition.
2. Camp Site – please ensure all rubbish has been put in the bin provided and your area is left as your found it and that kitchen facilities are left in a clean and
tidy manner. Please do not leave food scraps or rubbish in communal fire pits.
3. Accommodation – You agree to pay a CLEANING FEE of $100 if your accommodation space has not been left in a clean condition. Areas to be left clean and tidy include - BBQ facilities, Kitchen - dishes washed and put away, fridges cleaned out if fridge available, oven and microwave, rubbish placed in bin outside, any access dirt left on floors or walls.
4. Accommodation is serviced on departure only or once a week for long term guests.

UNDER 18s
1. All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or an individual over the age of 18.
2. Management has the right to refuse any booking when the legal guardian over 18 cannot provide current photo ID if requested on check-in.

GENERAL DAMAGES, BREAKAGES, BREACHES OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The facilities we manage are for residential short-stay accommodation for only less than 28 days.
2. Functions and/or parties will be charged a venue hire, bookings made at managements discretion.
3. All damages, breakages or losses to property, furniture and furnishings are to be reported to the management by the guest immediately.
4. Should you discover a fault, breakage or maintenance/safety issue when you arrive, please advise our office or we will consider those the
responsibility of the current guest and charge accordingly.
5. Guests and invitees are expected to behave in a manner which is conducive to the safety, comfort and convenience of other guests within the resort.
6. In the event that the property has been damaged (whether such damage is willful or not) and/or left in excessively dirty or untidy state, it will be at the
discretion of management to charge guests for damage.
7. To cover such costs, management may enter a debit on the credit card of the guest and the guest hereby authorises management to do so.
8. This also applies to any theft of linen (towels, sheets, etc) appliances, or anything provided to guests by Bullara Station Stay.
9. All accommodation and other buildings are NON SMOKING and are PET FREE.

LIABILITY
1. You are solely responsible for your own belongings and We are under no obligation to replace or compensate, nor shall We be liable for any loss or
damage suffered as a result of Your property being lost, stolen or damaged.
2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, We will not be held responsible or liable for any accident, direct or indirect loss including but not limited to loss suffered to property or person, damage, fatality, injury, psychological injury, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, disappointment or health related issue whatsoever during your stay. You agree to fully and finally release and discharge Us from any liability, claim, action, right or entitlement
whatsoever You have against Us whether known or unknown, whether accrued, contingent or inchoate arising out of, concerning or relating to your stay.
3. If You wish to claim any refund You must contact our reception team directly by emailing meraldastation@gmail.com or calling 0409992762
4. If a condition or warranty cannot be excluded at law then You agree to the fullest extent permitted by law that Our liability for a breach of the condition or
warranty shall be, at Our sole election, the re-supply or payment of the cost of re-supply of the relevant goods or services. All other conditions and/or
warranties are expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. You fully indemnify Us against any loss, liability, damage, action, demand, expense, claim, fine, charge or obligation which We have or may suffer or incur
by reason of or in any way consequent upon, arising out of or incidental to the non-performance or non-observance of the obligations and liabilities
imposed on You under this contract or by reason of or concerning or arising out of Your conduct, act or omission on or related to the Booking or your stay
at the Meralda Station.
6. The limitations and exclusions contained in clauses 1 to 5 (inclusive) of these terms and conditions extend to Our Agents to the fullest extent permitted by
law.
7. Petting sessions with animals. You choose to enter and participate with animals and wavier all responsibility to Meralda Station, and you are aware you maybe hurt or injured.
8. No refunds are given in August due to Mundi Mundi.
9. Self sufficent camping section, has access to No facilites offered at the other campsites.

These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made through Meralda Station, Booking.com, Hipcamp and Airbnb. Placing a booking with us constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as all bookings reflect you have been accepted on the basis that these Terms and Conditions have been read and understood.

When a guest registers or an invitee of a guest enters the property or facilities, they are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Failure to abide by these Terms and Conditions permits management to refuse, amend the rental or apply additional charges and/or terminate the occupancy.
You agree to ensure that all occupants treat the Property and all fittings with reasonable care, and you agree to pay for any damage caused by misuse, neglect or abuse during your occupancy. You agree to ensure that all occupants act in a manner that does not cause any nuisance or disturbance to nearby occupiers.
